I decided to run for Congress because I believe in the promise of America. which has allowed me to become the first in my family to graduate college and become a public school teacher. Education unlocked the potential in my life, and I believe that every child deserves that same opportunity.

No matter who you are or where you come from, everyone deserves a shot at success!

During my time in the state legislature and serving as Baltimore County Executive, I’ve had the privilege to work alongside so many of you to increase wages for hard-working families, create more affordable housing opportunities, improve government transparency, and work to keep our communities safe.

We’ve accomplished all of this and more by engaging with and empowering the communities we serve and working with anyone who wants to contribute to building a better future for all. I’m taking all of those lessons I’ve learned with me to Congress to continue delivering for our communities.

Our team is only as strong as our support from on the ground, and I need your help to carry our momentum through November so we can take our fight to Congress.
