Honoring Reverend Billy Graham  

Reverend Graham was a humble servant of God who spread the Gospel to millions around the world. He is the finest man North Carolina has ever produced and I can think of no tribute more fitting than for him to represent our state in Statuary Hall.

Celebrating the 2024 Congressional Art Competition Winner 

Congratulations to Mooresville’s Rehanna Yakubu on winning the 2024 Congressional Art Competition! Her acrylic work, Soeur – En Passant, will be prominently displayed in the Capitol.

Conducting Oversight and Holding Gruenberg Accountable 

This week, I led the House Financial Services Committee in a hearing to conduct oversight over President Biden's Prudential Regulators, including the unfit Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Chairman, Martin Gruenberg. 

Chairman Gruenberg must resign immediately. He has failed his employees, his agency, and the American people. The FDIC needs real leadership and the misconduct of Chair Gruenberg has made it abundantly clear that he is unable to lead.
