John,

Despite all the challenges that Israel has faced since its earliest days, God remains faithful. His love for Israel never wavers.

For example, years before the dark days of Babylonian captivity, the prophet Isaiah prophesied that King Cyrus, a pagan from Persia, would restore Israel. He then praised God's saving power:

"But Israel is saved by the Lord with everlasting salvation." (Isaiah 45:17)

God remained faithful to His promise and eventually returned the Jews to their homeland. He miraculously used King Cyrus as an instrument to save His people, thus fulfilling Isaiah's prophecy.

God still works in miraculous ways today. His love for Israel continues, and He will save His people amid dark days once again.

Please lift up Israel in prayer. Download this quarter's (April–June) 2024 ACLJ Prayer Guide. Inside, you will find devotions for spiritual encouragement and prayer requests related to the ACLJ's work to defend Israel.
