The RCV Local Option bill, the Local Voices, Local Choices Act, is up on the House floor now! Watch the livestream to get the latest on the debate and voting around the bill. This is a critical moment for RCV — don’t miss the chance to watch a bit of Minnesota history! For those of you who can’t join us at the Capitol in person, here is the link to watch the vote remotely.

The bill gives all local jurisdictions (cities, counties, school districts) the power to adopt RCV for local elections if they choose, provides standards for local use of RCV to make implementation easier, and allows state certification of RCV voting equipment and tabulation systems, which would expedite election results.
