Welcome back to Team Elise's weekly newsletter! We send a note to Elise's
supporters weekly to update them on what she's working on in Capitol Hill and
across NY-21.


Here are a few top Team Elise updates and stories we have been tracking for
the past week!


Elise and Her E-PAC Announce the First Slate of Rising Stars for 2024


On Wednesday, Elise released the first E-PAC’s rising stars slate for the 2024
election cycle! Each of the eight E-PAC-endorsed candidates have fulfilled
E-PAC's standards and are in a strong position to win their elections come
November! The first slate of rising stars included candidates from every corner
of the country, see the full list of E-PAC’s endorsed candidates below:

• Mayra Flores (TX-34)
• Alison Esposito (NY-18)
• Nancy Dahlstrom (AK-AL)
• Julie Fedorchak (ND-AL)
• Caroleene Dobson (AL-02)
• Laurie Buckhout (NC-01)
• Monique DeSpain (OR-04)


Elise released the following statement on the endorsement announcement –


“In 2018, I launched a program to elect more Republican women to the House. I
am proud to say that after just two cycles, House Republican women went from
just 13 to 36. This cycle, in addition to supporting our historic number of
Republican women incumbents, I am thrilled to announce my 2024 E-PAC Women’s
slate with eight endorsements of our strongest women Republican candidates
across the country. These small business leaders, state and local elected
officials, veterans, law enforcement officers, and moms are all rising stars
and have earned this endorsement. I look forward to supporting these women
across the finish line in both their primaries and general elections. It is
certain that Republican women will once again make history this election cycle
by expanding our House Republican Majority with an even greater number of House
Republican women.”

In 2019, Republican women made up only 2.9% of Congress. Elise founded E-PAC
to recruit, engage, empower, elevate, and elect more Republican women to
office. Since its founding, E-PAC has raised and donated over $4.5 million for
Republican women candidates.


In 2020, E-PAC helped more than double the number of Republican women in
Congress in what President Trump called“The Year of the Republican Women.”
Eleven out of the 15 seats that flipped red were won by E-PAC-endorsed
Republican women.


In 2022, E-PAC-endorsed candidates flipped critical House Republican
majority-making seats such as Jen Kiggans in VA-02, Lori Chavez-DeRemer in
OR-05, Anna Paulina Luna in FL-13, and Monica De La Cruz in TX-15.

Elise Joins The Guy Benson Show


On Wednesday, Elise joined The Guy Benson Show to discuss Joe Biden’s failed
foreign policy, Chuck Schumer’s failure to support Israel, the ongoing
congressional investigation into holding campus leadership accountable for
failing to protect Jewish students and faculty, and the fight against
antisemitism in America’s education system.

Elise Recognizes Fort Drum Soldiers


On Thursday, Elise welcomed soldiers from Fort Drum to Washington to be
recognized as the all-Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal team of the year. Along
with two members of the EOD Group Command Team, Col. Matt Kuhns and Cmd. Sgt.
Maj. Issac Allender, Elise honored the soldiers for their impressive
accomplishment and outstanding service.

Elise Leads Effort to Boost Tariffs on Chinese-Made Drones


On Wednesday, House Republicans proposed legislation that would put a 30%
tariff on Chinese-made drones. The legislation, led by Elise, would also
provide grants to first responders, critical infrastructure providers, and
farmers and ranchers to purchase American-made drones. This legislation would
boost American manufacturing and make American-made drones more competitive.


Elise released the following statement after proposing the legislation –


“I am proud to introduce the Drones for First Responders Act to stop the CCP’s
influence over our nation and increase the competitiveness of U.S. drone
manufacturers by establishing a revenue neutral grant program to help Americans
purchase drones securely made by the U.S. and our allies,”said Congresswoman
Elise Stefanik.“With this legislation, American drone manufacturers will be
able to compete with Communist Chinese-controlled drones and enhance U.S.
national security.”

Elise Blasts Biden Admin for Appeasing Hamas


On Monday, Elise blasted Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the Biden
Administration for their rebuke of Israel. Elise stated –


“UNACCEPTABLE: Biden’s Secretary of State says the Administration wants Israel
to surrender to Hamas terrorists.


Sec. Blinken does NOT speak for the vast majority of Americans who support
Israel’s right to exist.


The Biden Administration’s weak foreign policy prioritizes the interests of
terrorists who call for “Death to America” over our most precious ally and it
is disgraceful.”

Elise Celebrates National Police Week


On Monday, Elise took to X to thank our men and women in blue for National
Police Week. She said –


“This National Police Week, let us pay tribute to the brave men and women who
keep us safe and commit to honoring the memory of those who made the ultimate
sacrifice. NY-21 is grateful for our law enforcement who serve our communities
each and every day.”

Elise Celebrates Mother’s Day


On Sunday, Elise and her family celebrated her third Mother’s Day since
becoming a mom! She said on X –


“Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible NY-21 mothers and grandmothers. I
learned everything I know from my amazing Mom - truly the best mother there is.
And I give all my love possible to our Sammy who made me a Mom. 💕”

Elise Calls Out Biden, Far Left Democrats’ Illegal Weaponization of the U.S.
Justice System


On Thursday, Elise blasted Joe Biden for hiding behind executive privilege
and blocking the release of incriminating evidence regarding his mishandling of
classified documents while Democrats carry out unprecedented and illegal
lawfare against his top political opponent, President Trump. Elise stated –


“We continue to see unprecedented and illegal lawfare against President Trump
whether it's the sham Alvin Bragg trial in New York City or the weaponized DOJ.
Joe Biden disregarded over 250 years of Constitutional executive privilege when
he orchestrated an unprecedented raid on President Trump’s home to obtain
Presidential records that President Trump was allowed to have under the
Presidential Records Act. Now, Joe Biden is hiding behind executive privilege
to prevent the American public from hearing how he knowingly mishandled
classified intelligence for personal, financial gain.”
