Massive tax cuts for giant corporations and the loss of family-sustaining union jobs have led to a $50 trillion transfer of wealth away from working-class people's homes and retirement accounts.
Windfall benefits to the ultra-wealthy never "trickle down." They lead to larger deficits and more income inequality. I refuse to answer to corporations because our Congressional leaders should answer solely to the people.
Friends, I'm honored to have received more contributions from individuals within the district than Rep. Jack Bergman this cycle, but our work is unfinished.
We fundraise not with promises to CEOs but with a platform that resonates with hardworking, everyday Americans. My funding comes from many small-amount donations, and I am the only 'American Promise' pledger in the race committed to campaign finance reform and eliminating Big Money from politics.
