Folks, we wanted to send a quick reminder that we’re more than halfway through the fundraising quarter. Here’s what that means for our campaign: In a matter of weeks, we’ll close out our fundraising for the quarter — and so will Martin’s hedge fund executive opponent. When we file our fundraising numbers and the reports from each campaign go public shortly after, we’ll see if his challenger has sustained momentum after raising more than $1 million in her first quarter in the race. It’s crucial that we keep up our momentum, too — or risk Republican super PACs flooding New Mexico with attack ads to boost Martin’s multi-millionaire challenger. She could even spend millions of her own money at the drop of a hat to tip the scales in her direction.
