As a community, city, and country, we are living in unprecedented times. While we live through this, each of us in our own way is carrying a lot right now. 

Right now, many of us are and will be navigating new ways of celebrating important holidays while maintaining social distance. Usually this is a time for coming together with family, and I know that this year’s holiday season is as hard as it is unusual. 

COVID-19 is forcing us to change some of our most treasured and valuable traditions. Getting through this together means we will find new ways to celebrate and be with our loved ones while keeping ourselves and our community safe. The holidays may not be the same this year, but once we’re on the other side of this crisis, I look forward to once again celebrating our community’s traditions together.

In the spirit of community, it’s more important now than ever, that we all are there for our neighbors. Given all of this, I want to check in with you. How are you feeling and how are you holding up?
