Friend, elections in the United States should be determined by the people -- not by whichever special interest group can spend the most.

But yesterday, the Congressional Leadership Fund (the campaign arm of the House GOP and the single highest-spending super PAC of the 2018 cycle) announced it is buying $600,000 worth of airtime in our district.

They know that John Katko's embrace of Donald Trump puts him out of step with the voters of NY-24. They know that Dana's grassroots-powered campaign is surging. And they want to reverse all of that by spending on waves of misleading ads.

We cannot let them succeed -- we've come too far. We need $6,000 more in grassroots donations by Wednesday to stay on track for our April budget targets and ensure that we have the resources to quickly respond to any attacks.
