#AfterThis: A collective hug from NCRC
Join our tweetstorm next Thursday, April 16 at 2pm ET

Dear NCRC friends,

COVID-19 has completely exposed just how economically unjustice our country is. And while it is very important for us to talk about the lack of financial and health support for millions of Americans and our small businesses, we also want to encourage optimism in what we see as a #JustEconomy for all.

That’s why we are launching our #AfterThis virtual idea and art festival this Thursday with a Tweetstorm!

What does a Just Economy mean to you? Perhaps you think all people should have clean water to drink and bath with, like me, #AfterThis. Or maybe a Just Economy means that paid sick leave is federally mandated #AfterThis.

Figure out what is most important to you and then get creative. Make a video, paint a picture, write a song or poem. Then at 2pm ET on Thursday, April 16, share your creation on Twitter. Be sure to include the hashtags: #AfterThis and #JustEconomy.

We want this to be an opportunity for all voices to be heard.

Thank you for all that you do and stay safe!

A sample message:

Although this is a truly dark moment, I'm also thinking about the future. So is a team @NCRC. They just launched an online festival to encourage hope, creativity and a #JustEconomy. They're asking: What happens #AfterThis? Details at: www.afterth.is

Here's my first contribution. To me, a Just Economy means …
