As an Air National Guard veteran, I am passionate about supporting our brave women and men in uniform, and believe me, Pete feels the same way. Armed Forces Day is about supporting our brave troops as they serve in harm's way, both at home and overseas. It's not just the danger they place themselves in, but also the sacrifices made along the way. As they serve in far away places, many of our brave service men and women miss family milestones at home while serving on demanding and lengthy deployments.
