New Jersey was just visited by an unwelcome guest. Donald Trump took to the stage in Wildwood to spread outrageous lies in front of a sea of MAGA Republicans. But what’s more revealing about his speech is what the former disgraced president avoided talking about.

Anyone who’s been following the news knows that women across the country are standing up to the Republican attacks on reproductive freedom. Ever since Roe v Wade was overturned, states nationwide have put restrictions on women’s access to healthcare. And Trump takes credit for it all.

Trump knows how unpopular his positions on abortion are, especially among women voters in New Jersey. But don’t be fooled. A second term of a Donald Trump presidency would be disastrous for women and reproductive rights both here and throughout the country.

It only took one term for Trump to set reproductive rights back a generation. As we fight to get those back, we must prevent further damage by taking action.
