Team Schakowsky is excited to announce our Summer Organizing Academy, taking place from June 11 to August 8, 2024. Our academy emphasizes the development of core political skills through classroom-style instruction led by political professionals every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM in Evanston, as well as opportunities to utilize these skills in a real-world setting.
The Summer Organizing Academy is a free and unique opportunity for rising leaders to learn about direct voter contact, volunteer recruitment, event planning, digital organizing, and so much more. This year’s participants will also get the chance to volunteer at the Democratic National Convention happening in Chicago this summer!
