PROSPER is dedicated to serving as the reliable, non-partisan authority on drug-related matters in British Columbia and beyond.
Our mission is clear: To provide evidence-based policy advice and guidance that centers around drug prevention and recovery. We believe recovery is real and should be the goal of any drug policy intervention.
We strive to support both individuals and communities in their efforts to prevent drug use at its onset, intervene when necessary, and advocate for effective paths to recovery.
Central to our vision is the dissemination of accurate information to individuals, groups, and candidates, ensuring that they are equipped with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions. We facilitate open forums that foster constructive dialogue among citizens and candidates alike, fostering a deeper understanding of drug-related issues.
Additionally, we actively work to cultivate consensus among diverse groups and individuals, recognizing the importance of collaboration in addressing complex challenges surrounding drug use and its impacts. Through these efforts, PROSPER aims to be a catalyst for positive change in British Columbia's approach to drug policy and support systems.
