John, our eighth Day of Action is in full swing!
Today’s cause is incredibly urgent: protecting children in crisis.
Worldwide humanitarian needs have been skyrocketing since 2017, following a devastating uptick in poverty, violence, climate disasters and food insecurity.
The physical and emotional impacts are simply unimaginable. As you read this message, 783 million people are facing chronic hunger — while 1 in 5 children live amidst or flee from conflict.
Without support, their survival is no guarantee. Will you urge Congress to fund lifesaving humanitarian programs before another emergency hits?
Behind every staggering headline and shocking statistic are stories of real children and families — innocent people who’ve lost absolutely everything.
John, our leaders really do have the power to help. The more funding they set aside for humanitarian aid, the more nutritious meals, safe shelter, critical medical care and education we can provide when the next crisis strikes.
It saves lives in the short-term AND transforms futures in the long-term.
So please, tell Congress: Every child everywhere has a right to survive and thrive.
Thanks for rallying with us, John!
