We are living in unprecedented times. All of us are dealing with new and unusual experiences of a world in crisis.
We are also navigating new ways of celebrating holidays during times where social distancing is imperative. This year’s holiday season is hard — we are losing valuable moments with family and friends and some of our most treasured traditions.
But, practicing social distancing now is absolutely necessary if we want to be able to see more of our friends and families in the future. We will find new ways to celebrate and be with our loved ones while staying safe at home to get through this together. Taking these precautions is the best way to defeat this virus and save lives.
It’s important now more than ever, in the spirit of community, that we all are there for our neighbors. In light of the interruptions to our community being able to come together during this holiday season, I want to check in with you. How are you holding up?
I look forward to once again gathering and being in community on the other side of this crisis. You can reply directly to this email, or text ZINA to 33777 to keep me in the loop on how you and your loved ones are doing.
In the meantime, I sincerely hope you are able to stay safe and healthy during these times.
Best wishes,
Zina
