It’s hard to believe that just last month, two terrible land management bills passed in the U.S. House that would impact the Boundary Waters: one that would remove mining restrictions near the Boundary Waters and another that would delist the gray wolf from the Endangered Species Act.
Once almost entirely vanished from the lower-48 states, northern Minnesota had one of the few remaining populations of the iconic gray wolf, until efforts were put forward and they were given more protections.
Stand with us to ensure these protections remain in place for the wildlife of the Boundary Waters. The federal government has an obligation to protect threatened and endangered species, as outlined in the Endangered Species Act of 1973 - let’s make sure our wildlife stays protected.
