Today’s Friday F*** Up is a deep cut.

For those real fans of beating Republicans and calling out their bullshit, I present Don Bacon, a Republican who faced an aggressive primary challenge earlier this week.

So, why was Don Bacon unendorsed by his own party and constantly under fire from a primary challenger? Well, Don Bacon will say anything to win a vote. Don’t just take it from us, last month he told the Daily Beast: “I just go with the voters.”

In fact, we remember when he tried to hide his anti-choice extremism, but then, facing a strong primary challenge, he reversed course and even ran an ad touting his record “defending the unborn by supporting pro-life policies.”

It’s wild that a man so Trump-esque couldn’t even get the endorsement of his own state party. They were so infuriated by his flip-flopping they endorsed his opponent.

There are a lot of people you need to be able to trust - your doctor, your partner, and ideally your elected officials.

Don Bacon is as untrustworthy as they come. But he's going up against a Democrat he beat last election, so it's our job to make sure the outcome is different this time around.
