Welcome back to E-PAC’s weekly newsletter! This week Team E-PAC is excited to share a special edition of the E-PAC newsletter –introducing you to our first slate of Republican women rising stars!

As a reminder, Republican House Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik founded E-PAC after the 2018 midterm elections to increase the number of Republican women serving in the halls of Congress. In 2019, only 13 Republican women served in the House of Representatives, and as of December 2023, there are now a historic 36 Republican women serving! Chairwoman Stefanik is proud to lead this effort of electing more Republican women to the ranks of Congress.

Chairwoman Stefanik and Her E-PAC Announce First Slate 2024 Rising Star Endorsements

On Wednesday, Chairwoman Elise Stefanik released the first slate of E-PAC’s rising stars for the 2024 election cycle! Each of the eight E-PAC-endorsed candidates fulfilled E-PAC's benchmarks and are in a strong position to win their elections come November!

Chairwoman Elise Stefanik stated –

“In 2018, I launched a program to elect more Republican women to the House. I am proud to say that after just two cycles, House Republican women went from just 13 to 36. This cycle, in addition to supporting our historic number of Republican women incumbents, I am thrilled to announce my 2024 E-PAC Women’s slate with eight endorsements of our strongest women Republican candidates across the country. These small business leaders, state and local elected officials, veterans, law enforcement officers, and moms are all rising stars and have earned this endorsement. I look forward to supporting these women across the finish line in both their primaries and general elections. It is certain that Republican women will once again make history this election cycle by expanding our House Republican Majority with an even greater number of House Republican women.”

MEET E-PAC’S FIRST-SLATE RISING STARS

Meet Caroleene: Caroleene Dobson is a distinguished attorney, wife, mother, District Two resident, and a lifelong advocate for conservative values seeking the Republican nomination for Alabama's Second Congressional District.

“I am proud to endorse Caroleene Dobson in Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District. Caroleene has a fresh voice and new ideas that we need in the committee rooms, corridors, and chambers of the U.S. Congress.

A committed conservative with a farm family background, Caroleene will fight for her congressional district and stand tall for Alabama.” – Chairwoman Elise Stefanik

Meet Yvette: Born and raised in New Mexico, Yvette Herrell started her path towards the American Dream like many of us - hard work, faith in God, and grit. As a proven job creator and entrepreneur, Yvette has started several small businesses throughout New Mexico.

“Our country is on the brink because of failed Far Left policies and New Mexico needs my good friend and conservative fighter Yvette Herrell more than ever. Yvette is a rock solid conservative who puts America First and prioritizes results for hardworking families over partisan politics.

I am fully backing Yvette in her race and encourage all voters to rally behind her as we work together to flip this seat!” – Chairwoman Elise Stefanik

Meet Alison: Alison Esposito was born and raised in Highland Mills, New York. She attended the State University of New York at Delhi, City University of New York’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Academy at Quantico, Virginia.

“As a former New York Police Officer of almost twenty-five years, Alison Esposito is the kind of person who runs towards the disaster to save others, not away from it. We need more of those leaders in Washington.

Alison is the only candidate in this race with a strong record of putting the safety and security of New Yorkers first. She has what it takes to defeat failed Far Left Democrat Pat Ryan. I have full confidence Alison will bring her servant’s heart to Congress to prioritize the needs of Hudson Valley's hardworking families. Meet Nancy: Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom is Alaska’s proven fighter for our way of life. At a time when our jobs, our rights, and our values are under attack from Joe Biden and Washington D.C. liberals, Nancy is running to continue her fight for Alaska in Congress.

"Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom is the type of strong America First fighter we need in Congress.

I'm excited to endorse Nancy as we look to flip this critical congressional seat and maintain a Republican majority in the House. Alaskans can trust Nancy to fight for them every day in Congress and that is why she is our best chance to win this seat." – Chairwoman Elise Stefanik

Meet Julie: Julie Fedorchak is a fourth generation North Dakotan with deep roots in our state. The youngest of eight kids, Julie was born in Williston, grew up in Fargo, graduated from high school in Bismarck and earned her bachelor’s degree from UND. She spent many summers growing up on their family farm near Belden, N.D.

“I’m proud to endorse Julie Fedorchak for North Dakota’s at-large congressional seat. We need strong Members of Congress who are committed to fighting for President Trump’s America First agenda who deliver results.

Julie will be a much-needed addition to our conference and someone who will fight every day to secure our border, bring down the cost of living, and unleash our country’s energy potential. Meet Monique: As an Air Force Veteran, attorney, and advocate for government transparency and reform, Monique has a consistent record of service and integrity. Her service to her local community has been shaped by experiences outside of politics, pursuing a career as a military lawyer in the Air Force, as corporate general counsel in the private sector, and as an advocate for businesses and crime victims - all while raising her twin boys as a single mom in Eugene, Oregon.

“I am proud to endorse Monique DeSpain for Congress. Monique is a fighter and will be a staunch advocate for Oregon’s 4th Congressional District and our nation in Congress. As a retired Air Force Colonel, single mother, and attorney, Monique understands how to get things done and doesn’t shy away from a challenge. Monique will fight to secure our border, combat the homeless crisis in Oregon, support law enforcement to reduce crime, and fight to get our economy back on track. I am excited to endorse Monique for Congress and look forward to the work she will do for OR-04 in Congress." – Chairwoman Elise Stefanik

Meet Laurie: Laurie Buckhout was born in Virginia and lives in Edenton, North Carolina. She earned a bachelor's degree from James Madison University, a master’s of military arts and science in national military strategy, and a master’s of science in information management from Webster University. Buckhout served in the U.S. Army, reaching the rank of Colonel.

“Laurie Buckhout is a no-nonsense leader who isn’t afraid to fight for the voters of North Carolina’s First District.

She will work to tackle inflation, secure our Southern Border, and make life better for working families who are struggling under the disastrous Biden-Davis agenda. I am proud to endorse Laurie Buckhout for North Carolina’s 1st Congressional District because we need more strong leaders like her in Washington.” – Chairwoman Elise Stefanik

Meet Mayra: Mayra was born and raised with humble beginnings in Burgos, Tamaulipas, Mexico. My parents and grandparents raised me with strong conservative values and to always put God and family first. I came legally to the United States at six years old with the help of my father and became a proud, naturalized American Citizen.
