We’re losing about 44 of our neighbors and family members every day, roughly 34,500 people since 2008.
Some people leave because they are saddled with student loan debt and cannot afford to stay. Others are weighed down with mountains of medical debt.
The “Take Me Home” debt forgiveness program will repay student loan debt OR pay off medical debts for tens of thousands of people who take jobs in areas of public service that protect and rebuild our communities, including:
🔷Frontline workers fighting addiction crisis and the pandemic
🔷Volunteer firefighters and EMS
🔷National Guard members
🔷Mountaineer Service Corps members
🔷Teachers and School Service Personnel
