Hi John,
You should never have any doubt that the commonsense majority can make a difference when we make our voices heard.
Let’s start with one of the biggest stories of the week – after months of uncertainty over whether we’d see any presidential debates this year, President Biden and former President Trump agreed to get on stage to face off next month.
No Labels has said repeatedly our potential leaders owe it to the American people to make their cases as to how they’d address America’s major problems, from our spiraling debt and deficit to our porous southern border.
And we’ve asked you to add your voice to petitions encouraging the debates to take place, and you responded by the thousands.
Now both campaigns have agreed to set a date for the first debate – June 27, only 41 days from now. This announcement came in the same week we hosted a No Labels Talks focused entirely on presidential debates – talk about perfect timing.
The good news doesn’t stop there. Our movement enjoyed another victory this week when President Biden agreed to lift his hold on vital military aid for Israel.
As with the presidential debates, you all rallied time and time again to help make this happen, amplifying voices in Congress like Josh Gottheimer and Ritchie Torres who have been unequivocal in demanding that America support our closest ally in the Middle East in its war against the terrorist group Hamas.
I’ve seen firsthand what our support for Israel means to the folks over there, and I couldn’t be prouder of this community for coming together to ensure America upholds its promises.
Over the past few years, No Labels has steadily built up our movement of commonsense Republicans, Democrats, and independents who believe country should always come before party. Now, we’re showing the rest of America the power we can wield when we band together to get big things done.
Let’s keep up the good work!
With resolve,
Margaret White,
No Labels
