House Democrats in Congress are launching a probe into Trump’s ties with
Big Oil Executives.^1 This should be bigger news. According to the Washington
Post, Trump said “that giving $1 billion would be a “deal” because of the
taxation and regulation the oil companies would avoid thanks to him,
according to people with knowledge of the meeting.” ^2

Blatant, immoral corruption is not only wrong, it’s the reason we are
unable to take any meaningful climate action to address the current
crisis. The fossil fuel industry’s greed for ever-increasing profits is
having a detrimental impact on our lives, and they must be stopped.
