Dear John,

What a strange time this is. While we each do our best to take care of
ourselves and our loved ones, it's becoming clear that this virus is
aggressively attacking the most vulnerable among us. As the death toll
rises in the United States and around the world, it is impossible to
remain unaffected by this collective suffering. We are all experiencing
grief.

[ Register ]We want to offer some solace and some tangible ways to move through
this moment.

How do we grieve together when we must be physically distant? How do we
awaken to what this pandemic is uncovering about racism, inequality, and
vulnerability? How do we move through grief and loss in a way that creates
new possibilities both now and for our future?

We invite you to join us in our second Virtual Gathering, Grieving
Together is an Act of Revolutionary Love in collaboration with Valarie
Kaur on Thursday, April 16, at 5PM Pacific. Together, we will explore
these questions, orient to this historical moment, listen to Valarie read
from her forthcoming book See No Stranger: A Memoir and Manifesto of
Revolutionary Love, and engage in a live Q&A.

  Valarie Kaur is a civil rights lawyer, award-winning filmmaker and
innovator and we are so excited to be collaborating on this virtual
series. Her work calls us up and into the hard and necessary work to heal
our wounds and reimagine the world. Her framework for revolutionary love
points the way through division and despair to a future where all people
can have a place of dignity.

Hundreds joined our first gathering last month as we learned how to summon
our deepest wisdom during this massive upheaval and transition. Our hour
together was powerful, affirming, and life-giving.

We hope you can join us next Thursday!
