From May 22 through May 28, 2024, active-duty and reserve members of the military and National Guard ride for free on NJ TRANSIT while in uniform or by displaying a Military ID. To take advantage of this offer, simply board any New York City-bound NJ TRANSIT bus or train and show your military uniform or ID to the operator or conductor. No ticket or fare is required.
