As we recognize National Women’s Health Week this year attacks on reproductive rights are ramping up by the day.
Just in the past month, we’ve seen even more conservative-led state governments and courts implement and uphold abortion bans and consider harsh restrictions on reproductive health care.
Americans everywhere have made it clear that we don’t support these attempts to strip away the fundamental right for women to make their own health care decisions, but anti-abortion extremists are barreling forward with their dangerous agenda anyway.

I’ve been proud to earn endorsements from all the major reproductive rights organizations each time I’ve run for Congress, and I will continue to uphold our shared mission of defending and expanding reproductive care access for all.
This is what it comes down to for me: I, as an elected official, should not have a say in the decisions women make about their own bodies. Health care decisions should be private, between you, your doctor, and your family – not the government.
Anti-choice extremists are not motivated by “protecting life” as they want you to believe. The increase in abortion restrictions further proves that for them, this is about power and control.
This is what’s at stake in November. I need your support to keep up the fight to defend and restore abortion access here in California and nationwide. Add your name now if you’re ready to join me in the fight to defend women’s health.
Thank you,
Scott
