RfA Sunday 2024 Resources are out now!
** The rainbow is for all,
------------------------------------------------------------
** and all are for the rainbow.
------------------------------------------------------------
We’re proud to announce that this year’s RfA Sunday Resources ([link removed]) are now live! As you prepare to celebrate God’s diverse creation this June, or anytime throughout the year, you’ll find prayers, hymn suggestions, community activity ideas, coloring pages and more within these pages.
This digital kit is based on the lectionary for Sunday June 16th, 2024, and is deeply rooted in the parable of the mustard seed in Mark 4.
Rostered congregations will receive a physical copy of these resources in the mail, and if you would like us to mail you some full color inserts for your worship services, please contact us at
[email protected] with your church name, mailing address, and how many inserts you’re requesting.
These materials were created by Room for All, with contributions by Rev. David Groeneveld, Rev. Emily Ratering-Youngberg, and Elliot Weidenaar, M.Div. We're grateful for their time and work!
** Celebrate with a Community Activity
------------------------------------------------------------
Whether as part of your worship or a gathering following, the included activities offer a tangible way to affirm everyone's place in the kin-dom of God.
* Branches and Creatures Activity for Communion (Adapted from the Room for All worship service at the 2018 General Synod)
+ This activity is designed to allow each person to see themselves as one of the creatures finding shade in the tree of God’s kin-dom community, as they decorate the communion table.
* Kin-dom Tree Activity
+ Planned for artists of all skill levels and ages, using included coloring sheets you'll construct a natural home while thanking God for the biodiversity of living things in it.
