Everyone in this country deserves affordable healthcare, John. It really is that simple.

But my opponent Rob Menendez Jr. doesn’t think so. If he did, he wouldn’t have voted against a measure to protect people from surprise hospital billing.

And why did he do this might you ask? Because he has no issue taking hundreds of thousands of dollars from pharmaceutical lobbyists and PACs in return for his votes.

Since day one I have made it clear that I would never put the interests of special interests above the hard working families of NJ-08. That’s why I have never accepted corporate money, and I have made it a priority to listen to the voters in our district.

I will fight tooth and nail to make healthcare affordable for all, but to make a real change, we need to win our competitive primary on June 4th. This means we need to ramp up our voter outreach efforts ASAP.
