Friends,
I wanted to share with you an update on recent work.
This week, I voted to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress for refusing to provide the audio tape of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s interview of President Biden.
Additionally, I called out Democrats’ weaponization of the legal system to go after political enemies.
And my bill to ease the burden on small businesses applying for patents unanimously passed the House Judiciary Committee. Read more here.
I recently held a ceremony in the district to celebrate ten local students who were selected to attend U.S. Military Service Academies. These ten represent a proud, centuries-long tradition and the enduring future of our military and its leadership. I trust they will serve with courage and commitment, and they have the congratulations and best wishes of this retired Army Captain.
Finally, as we celebrate Police Week this week, we recognize the courageous men and women of law enforcement who proudly wear the uniform, walk the toughest beats, and protect us every day.
As always, it is an honor to serve as your representative in Congress. For more information, please visit my website at www.issa.house.gov.
