went bankrupt from my littlest sister’s medical bills, we relied on our
neighbors to get by. As the son of a banker, Josh Hawley went to a fancy
prep school miles from his hometown. I joined the Marines to honor
everything our community had done for my family. I deployed once to Iraq,
twice to Afghanistan. After law school, Hawley joined one of the world’s
most elite corporate law firms. Then he began climbing the ladder to
become another corrupt politician. After 13 years of active duty, I fought
against monopoly power in our economy + democracy at the American Economic
Liberties Project. In 2018, Hawley was elected to the U.S. Senate. The
Missouri I grew up in taught us to take care of one another. To do your
duty. To serve and sacrifice for your fellow Missourians. But on January
6, 2021, Josh Hawley showed us exactly who he really is — just a fraud and
a coward. Now, I’m running to defeat Josh Hawley because Missourians
deserve a real warrior for working people fighting for them in the U.S.
Senate. Approval polling from Morning Consult found that Josh Hawley is
the least popular GOP U.S. Senator up for re-election this November. This
is our chance to defeat Josh Hawley and take back Missouri’s U.S. Senate
