Border Charities Exposed 😲

Got your wallet ready? You’re about to foot the bill for corruption
<[link removed]>
that is a direct result of Biden’s open-border madness.

A new report from the folks over at The Free Press
<[link removed]> details
how border crisis charities are getting bigger and more bloated every day—and
you won’t believe how they’re spending your tax dollars.

I’m aware that the chaos at our southern border is a humanitarian crisis.
Nearly400,000
<[link removed]>
innocent and unaccompanied children have crossed into the U.S. since 2021, and
their basic needs must be met. But for those who need a refresher on what that
means, it includes shelter, food, and clothing—not the shenanigans we’re
finding on some of these receipts.

According to this new report
<[link removed]>
, border crisis charities like Global Refuge, Southwest Key Programs, and
Endeavors are getting huge government grants and spending them on everything
from music therapy sessions to “people-plant interactions,” whatever the heck
that means. Endeavors, in particular, was awarded more than a billion bucks,
only to spenda hefty chunk of it
<[link removed]>
on consulting, conferences, and lobbyists.

But here’s the kicker: You’ll also find obscene salaries for their staff. The
head honchos of all three of these nonprofits rake in more than $500,000. In
fact, the CEO of Southwest Key Programs is reportedly taking in more than a
whopping $1 million every dadgum year.

You tell me: Does this sound like a bunch of do-gooders who are in it to give
back and lend a helping hand? Not even close.

It’s downright criminal how much taxpayer money
<[link removed]>
these organizations are getting—especially considering how it’s being abused.
Democrats have no problem throwing our cash around under the guise of
“charity,” and to make matters worse, they have no regard for accountability or
performance tracking.

Above all, I want to remind you that there’s still no plan to nip this thing
in the bud and stop the flow of migrants in the first place. Since Biden took
over, we the people have shelled out$150 billion
<[link removed]>
per year on the border mess—and it appears that’s just fine with him. No
surprise to us, some reports say he’s twiddling his thumbs, waiting for us to
hit a staggering4,000 crossings
<[link removed]>
per day to actually do something.

All the while, many Democrats are finally getting nervous
<[link removed]>
about how this issue will affect their prospects in November (as they should
be).

At the end of the day, Americans are fed up with the endless use and abuse of
their tax dollars—and I hope and pray they’re ready to make that clear. This
disaster has the Left’s fingerprints all over it, and they should pay the price
at the ballot box in November.

As National Police Week <[link removed]> draws to a close, I want
to recognize the men and women who serve and protect our communities. They have
an incredible responsibility, yet the job is often thankless, and I hope all of
us can work together to change that.

The truth is, without police officers, our communities would fall into total
disarray. In addition to upholding the rule of law, they are the first on the
scene during our most challenging moments, ready to provide life-saving care or
a helping hand.

In addition to Police Week, Wednesday marked a National Day of Remembrance for
fallen law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice. They put on
their uniforms and kissed their families goodbye but never returned home—and
they deserve to be honored and remembered.

I was proud to see that communities across the Knoxville area marked the
occasion withmemorial services
<[link removed]>
that paid respect to our own fallen Tennessee officers, and I commend everyone
who took time to participate.Together, we can set the standard for displaying
gratitude for our folks in blue.
