As we approach these summer months we are preparing for a long and exciting road, with lots of hard work ahead. It is going to take all of us working together, door knocking, phone banking, putting up yard signs, and much more to ensure Republican victories statewide! 

So, consider this a call to action! Now is the time to sign up and get to work! We are looking for full time staff, interns, and volunteers, to join the team. If you would like to learn more about how to get involved with the Indiana GOP, reach out to Sam Orrell at [email protected].

If you want to get involved at the local level, you can reach out to your county chairs and see how you can help. Your county party leadership needs help to power all of the local organizations that are foundational to all of our campaign efforts.

Governor Eric Holcomb announced alongside fellow Republicans the completion of the Double Track Project on the South Shore Line. 

What he’s saying: “One hundred years later, this Double Track Project will continue to transform Northwest Indiana for generations to come,” Gov. Holcomb said. “This game-changing project is yet another example of how the State of Indiana continues to make targeted investments that attract talent and commercial investment that in turn helps our communities take it to their next level.” - Gov. Holcomb said in press release.

As we enter the summer season and gear up for family vacations and other seasonal activities, we wanted to remind you all to budget appropriately for what may be the most expensive summer of our lifetimes. Bidenflation has made it impossible for many to take a summer vacation, or even enjoy simple outings with their children. 

How has Bidenomics impacted your summer vacation plans? 

• Average costs for lodging have gone up an additional $24 a night.
• Tickets for movies, concerts, and theaters cost $33 more per ticket.
• Taking a road trip? Under Bidenomics you are spending $259 more for every 100 gallons you put in your vehicle.
• A $200 trip to the grocery store costs an additional $48 in Biden’s economy. 

A family of 4 can expect to spend an additional $663 on a 3-day vacation that they wouldn’t have spent 4 years ago in Trump’s economy. The information above was collected from Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. 

And how are Americans dealing with Bidenflation? A Survey of Americans says... 

• 1 in 3 Americans are willing to go into debt to pay for vacation this year.
• 47% of Americans plan to skip their summer vacation, 65% citing affordability as the main issue.
• 26% plan to use a credit card and carry the balance over multiple billing cycles in order to go on vacation.
• 60% of Gen Z and Millennials plan on using debt to pay for Vacation 

The top of the ticket in November presents a clear choice. We can either continue the Biden path of crippling inflation, watching our real average wages decline, or we can correct our trajectory by electing President Trump.

It is rare that the Republican National Convention is so close to Indiana, that you shouldn't let this opportunity pass by if you are interested. The Convention may not return until 2032 at the earliest! If you are a motivated Hoosier, get involved and sign up!

Governor Eric Holcomb welcomed the Sweet & Snacks Expo to Indiana. 

Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch continued to raise awareness and advocate on X for mental health awareness month.

Treasurer Daniel Elliott joined ABC Construction Prep, at their academy and discussed the impact the CSA Program has on future Hoosier workforce.  

Comptroller Elise Nieshalla commented on Indiana's support for Israel. 

Secretary Diego Morales met with Bolotbek Borviev, Consul General of Krygyzstan.

Attorney General Todd Rokita paid tribute to the men and women who serve our communities in honor of National Police Week.

Senator Todd Young joined Gov. Holcomb and Congressman Rudy Yakym in the launch of the $650M south shore line Double Track Project.

Senator Mike Braun was recognized as a Champion of Healthcare Price Transparency at the National Healthcare price Transparency Conference.

Congressman Rudy Yakym joined Holcomb and Todd Young in the celebration of the south shore line Double Track project.

Congressman Jim Banks spoke on Joe Biden's comments on grocery stores being the blame for inflation.

Congressman Jim Baird spoke on the House floor to recognize National Police Week and honor and remember those who sacrificed so much for our communities.
