Dear Neighbors,

I’m writing this message as I prepare to head to the House Floor for the final three days of the 2024 legislative session. We are expecting long days and longer nights spent debating and voting on these final pieces of legislation before the 11:59 PM adjournment deadline Sunday evening.

This is always a hectic time of year with negotiations ongoing on final bills and things changing by the hour. I plan on giving you a final recap sometime next week after the dust settles.

In the meantime, these crazy days and long hours on the House Floor remind me of how fortunate I am to serve as your representative in St. Paul. It’s been an interesting few years with lots of highs and victories achieved for our communities and some pretty significant lows that have made this job very challenging.

Throughout it all, I have never lost sight of what you have sent me here to do, to be your voice and to make sure that the interests of our region are heard loud and clear here in St. Paul.

Thank you for trusting me to be that voice and for your support this year.
