As border debate shifts right, Sen. Alex Padilla emerges as persistent counterforce for immigrants

Alex is a champion for immigrants in the U.S. Senate. And at a time where so many — even those within our own party — are turning their backs on immigrants and falling victim to right-wing talking points, we need more leaders like Alex in government.

Alex has a long history of fighting for immigrant communities, dating back to his start in politics fighting against the anti-immigrant Prop 187 here in California.

And with negotiations on a border deal continuing in the Senate, it’s critical that we let Alex know we’ve got his back.

So please — can you give $5 or $10 to Alex Padilla today? The amount doesn’t matter as much as the contribution itself, because the most important thing is not how much money we raise, but how many people are willing to chip in to stand with Alex.
