I’m grateful to all the Nebraskans who gave me their vote in this 2024 Nebraska Republican U.S. Senate Primary Election -- and now it’s on to the pivotal General Election race for control of the Senate Majority and the future of our great country.

But before we look forward to the difficult challenge ahead, it’s important to remember how we arrived at this critical point in history.

Friend, I have been honored and humbled by the widespread support I have received all across Nebraska and America. Nebraskans know me. I’m no stranger to them. I’ve spent many years traveling our state, county by county, community by community. 

From starting my public service with the local school board to help our kids compete in the 21st century, securing needed tax relief, water resource management, and my landmark Build Nebraska Act to construct and modernize roads and bridges across Nebraska in the Legislature, to my 2012 election to the U.S. Senate, I have fought for our state and our country. 

I am proud of my record. There’s no question I’m a conservative -- just take a look at my votes – and I get the job done for Nebraska and take care of our people by: 

Supporting our veterans.

Securing funding to help Nebraska rebuild after historic flooding. 

Modernizing the levees that provide clean drinking water for two-thirds of Nebraskans.

Fighting tooth and nail against bureaucratic overreach in Washington, D.C. 

Voting against tax increases on the middle class and opposing Joe Biden’s bad economic ideas that drive up costs for families. 

As a senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, I have worked tirelessly to ensure our men and women in uniform have the resources they need to complete the missions we ask of them.

I’ve also led the way in calling for this government to stand up to China. We must always follow President Reagan’s edict and secure “peace through strength.” That means a first-rate military and moving away from our economic dependence on China.

Friend, we all know that the Biden Border Crisis must end. I’ve made several visits to our southern border and voted to build the wall to secure the border. 

The situation at our border is an absolute nightmare -- one that could have been totally avoided. It is a humanitarian crisis and a national security crisis, and I will continue to demand Democrats protect this country along our southern border.

Finally, I have never shied away from standing up for our values. I was proud to support President Trump’s three nominees to the Supreme Court.

Friend, my service in the U.S. Senate has been the honor of my life -- and today I am humbly asking for your support so that I might continue to serve the people I know and the state and country I love.

Together, we have made a difference for this country -- but it’s no secret we live in a dangerous time, at home and abroad. It seems our way of life is under attack everywhere we turn.

We must stand together and stand tall for our shared values, Friend. To take care of our people, protect this nation, and secure a brighter future for our children and grandchildren, we must emerge victorious in this key U.S. Senate race and help capture a new and desperately needed GOP Majority on Capitol Hill.

So Friend, I hope I can count on your difference making backing for my 2024 re-election campaign.
