Had she been born healthy, Pippa the sheep likely would have been slaughtered within the first year of her life. But a lack of care after she was born left Pippa sickly, partially blind, and with a severe infection in her back leg.
On most factory farms, sick animals are simply killed or left to die. Luckily, this farm contacted Farm Sanctuary and asked if we could take Pippa off their hands.
