Hey friend,

It’s been called “the most consequential -- and destructive -- campaign finance decision by the Supreme Court in nearly half a century.” Citizens United, now ten years old, created super PACs by labeling big corporations “people” and their dark money “free speech.”

Since then, outside spending in political campaigns has broken records every federal election -- with a billion dollars spent on the 2018 midterms by outside groups (40% from undisclosed sources). It’s no wonder 81% of Americans want to overturn the decision.

Democrats have passed a bill to do just that: H.R. 1, the For the People Act. This act undoes the damage of Citizens United by requiring dark money donors reveal themselves, strengthening oversight of campaign finance laws so rulebreakers go to jail, and organizing a public system for matching small donors with candidates so that the richest voices don’t get to be the loudest.

Mitch McConnell, who’s taken hundreds of thousands from corporate PACs, has declared the bill dead on arrival in the Senate -- he won’t even let the bill reach the floor for a vote. That means in order to stand up to corporate PACs, dark money donors, and the politicians they’ve bought (like McConnell), we need you.

We need 10,000 voters to join us TODAY in voicing their support for campaign finance reform! If you agree that Mitch McConnell shouldn’t allow dark money donors to buy our elections, please add your name to ours now! >> [link removed]

Thank you for standing with us,
