The local and European elections are just three weeks away. The pro-life candidates who have declared are making huge personal sacrifices in stepping forward.

The least we can do is set aside an evening or two to canvass and/or leaflet for them in our local electoral areas.

It gives a great boost to candidates to see new people turning up to help. Don’t underestimate the impact your presence can have - even if the time you can afford is short.Many of them stand an excellent chance of being elected but they need all the support they can get to reach the electorate before Election Day.

Don’t put off the decision. Commit today to canvassing and/or leafleting for a pro-life candidate, whether it be for one evening or over several days.

Text CANVASS to 50015 and one of the team will give you a call in the coming days to discuss how you wish to get involved. They will give a brief description of the pro-life candidates in your local electoral area or neighbouring area. Obviously, you’ll make the decision on which of the candidates listed you want to help.

This is our chance to make a difference. What happens in the upcoming elections will determine who represents us for the next five years and whether progress is made in reducing the number of abortions taking place and restoring some respect for the right-to-life in society at large.

The Pro Life Campaign is putting the finishing touches to the Voter Guide for the upcoming Local and European elections.

When published, it will be a valuable resource for voters, offering insights into where candidates and parties stand on right-to-life issues like abortion.

To ensure the guide is as comprehensive and reliable as possible, we are looking for your assistance in gathering additional information on candidates' positions. With over 2,000 candidates running in the upcoming elections, it is an immense undertaking compiling all the data.

We would be very grateful if you would take the time to send us any information you have on candidates in your area regarding their stance on right-to-life issues. We’ve a lot of the work already done but don’t assume we have all the information we need on the candidates running in your area. We encourage you if at all possible to also circulate the following link to candidates in your area to afford them the opportunity to respond to our election survey in case they haven’t done so already: [[link removed]].

The close of nominations for the upcoming elections is tomorrow (Saturday 18th May).

** National Women’s Council’s frantic post on X after March for Life

The National Women’s Council wasted no time in sounding the alarm after the recent March for Life in Dublin. Pro-life people marching through the capital city is all it took to set them off with a far-fetched post on X that abortion access in Ireland is under threat.

It is revealing how insecure the NWCI appear to be about the 2018 win they secured in dismantling legal protection for unborn babies. If they truly believed that “victory” was wholeheartedly embraced by the public, they wouldn’t be so concerned every time pro-life people appear in public.
