This week, Wisconsin voters were forced into a decision: Either they went out to place their vote in their election on Tuesday and put themselves at risk of contracting COVID-19, or they had to give up their right to vote.

That is unacceptable. Americans deserve to be kept safe and to maintain their right to vote. Still, states around the country face resistance at every turn in establishing measures to protect voting rights by expanding vote-by-mail and absentee ballots.
