Hey John!

As we see the detrimental impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on the U.S. workforce, Voto Latino has launched a permanent paid sick leave campaign , working to get as many people as possible to build pressure on Congress to pass long-term, paid sick leave for EVERY worker in the United States.

Unlike most wealthy countries, the United States does NOT have a federal paid sick leave policy to guarantee workers paid sick days, which only hurts families and our communities, especially Latinx workers.

Through petition signatures, emails, and phone calls, we’re using every communication method at our disposal over the next couple of weeks to push Congress to act.

The digital tools it takes to connect people to their members of Congress cost money, so I’m about to ask if you can help us out (and get something really cool in return!).

Donate $5 or more to support VL’s paid sick leave campaign today, and you’ll receive your choice of one of our four limited edition stickers! [[link removed]]

From restaurant workers, to farmers, to domestic workers, to mechanics, to mail carriers, and more, every worker deserves the ability to take paid time off when they’re sick or need to take care of a loved one. It’s about time we make that a reality, especially now.

Thanks for supporting our campaign!

En solidaridad,

Sandra Sánchez
