These days, it’s exhausting to even step outside. Across the country, costs of living, abortion bans, and deportation laws are on the rise — along with countless other threats to our collective freedoms.

There’s no reason we should be drowning in student loan debt, worrying about being separated from our loved ones by deportation or having to deal with gun violence. As young people, the future belongs to us — not the bad actors who have been doing everything they can to make it go down in flames.

That’s why today we’re launching the Unafraid! Campaign to build collective power with young people, like you, fired up to take the future into our hands. It all starts this summer with joining a text bank to talk to our peers about the issues that impact our lives. EVERY Thursday, starting May 30, at 6:30 pm CT/ 7:30 pm ET, join me in texting youth from states like Arizona, Texas, and Colorado about our futures. Will I see you there?
