Extreme politicians are seeking to divide the American people, sow distrust in our elections, and destroy the very foundations of our democratic institutions.

We saw what happened on January 6, 2021, and we can’t allow that to happen again. With Trump and his far-right allies already refusing to accept the 2024 results, we cannot afford to be complacent when it comes to defending our values, our voting rights, and our democracy.

As a former federal law enforcement officer, former CIA case officer, and current Member of Congress, I have taken an oath multiple times to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution. I know what is at stake — and I know you do, too.

I know our democracy is strong, but it’s also under attack by those in some of our highest offices, so we must ensure that we’re electing pro-democracy candidates to office this November.
