Mayor Breed promised to make downtown
San Francisco a vibrant, 24/7 destination neighborhood – and with the
help of elected officials like Senator Scott Wiener, she’s making good
on that promise.
For example, the creation of San Francisco’s first Entertainment Zone will help make events more accessible and popular than ever, by allowing restaurants and bars to serve alcohol at outdoor events. Bars and outdoor event spaces are critical to keeping our downtown community vibrant and thriving – and it’s our responsibility to make sure these spaces have what they need to keep downtown active 24/7.
