John, as Dina’s campaign manager, I am constantly evaluating the state of our race and looking at what we need to do to win here in Southern Nevada. So ahead of our mid-month fundraising goal, I thought I would take a moment to walk you through our plans at this stage of the campaign.
As I take a look at the state of our race, here’s what I am tracking: First, outreach and organizing have never been more important. Our team is committed to knocking every last door, persuading voters who are on the fence, and turning out every Democrat on Election Day. We are traveling all around the district, from college campuses to parades and community festivals.
Additionally, advertising is one of the most effective ways to spread our message all across this district. No matter what type of ads we run – mail, digital, radio, or TV – it is extremely expensive, especially in Las Vegas. But ads are one of the best ways to spread our message far and wide, so we need to make sure we are investing in them.
Finally, a robust campaign team is crucial to making sure we’re staying on track to win this race in November. To be prepared for the intense months leading up to Election Day. We need to have a team adept at fundraising, communications, and organizing. That means growing our staff has never been more important.
John, I know I’m asking for a lot here. And you may have noticed a common thread: We are relying on this grassroots team to help us out on all fronts. With gratitude, Zach |
