Dear John,

One year ago today, the Republican supermajority voted to overturn Governor Cooper's veto of their highly restrictive and harmful 12-week abortion ban, allowing it to become law. This was only possible because of one legislator's indefensible choice to switch parties after misleading her donors, voters, and supporters.

The good news is, we only need to flip one or more seats in the NC House to break the supermajority. With our amazing Featured Candidates running across the state, I know we can do it.

Even with the 12-week ban, NC is still an abortion access point for much of the South, most of which faces total or 6-week bans. If Republicans keep their supermajority, they are sure to pass even more restrictions. We're not going to let that happen!
