Team — In late April, Governor Katie Hobbs, alongside Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, finalized the Colorado River Indian Tribes Water Resiliency Act, legislation led by Senator Mark Kelly in 2021 to expand and protect access to clean and safe water.

Tribal nations in Arizona deserve safe water to drink and to farm with and this investment not only recognizes the sovereignty of our tribal nations but invests in the infrastructure they use to continue to be stewards of a critical resource our communities depend on.
