We are hiring for three positions:
1- ECPS 2 or 3 (In-training)
1- ECPS 3 Medical
1- ECPS 3 Language Access

As an Enterprise Contracts & Procurement Specialist, you will perform expert-level procurement activities that support state enterprise operations and systems, as well as offer cost-effective procurement solutions and services to state agencies, colleges and universities, political subdivisions, and eligible non-profit corporations. You will work with business executives and department leaders and assist departments in strategically planning and executing their procurement activities.

*_ALL ECPS3_s:*
In the ECPS3 role, you will also help train, coach, and lead other procurement professionals in DES and across the state enterprise and be accountable for promoting and implementing state socio-economic, supplier inclusion, and environmental procurement priorities across the state enterprise.

*_MEDICAL_:*
This role will be responsible for managing medical industry contracts. ?Provide expert-level advice and consultation to help DES on navigating highly- complex medical industry procurements and contracts for use by state agencies. ?As the subject matter expert on these highly-complex medical industries, you will research and understand changes in federal and statewide directives, regulations, and issues including from the Governor?s office, legislators, customer agencies, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

*_LANGUAGE ACCESS COMMUNITY_:*
This ECPS3 position will be responsible for managing the language related contracts. This suite of contract works closely with the Language Access Community (LAC). This community is dedicated to providing access to state services for all Washington residents regardless of language or disability needs around communication.
