Dear Advocate,

For lots of people with cystic fibrosis and their circles of support, the COVID-19 pandemic is magnifying existing financial and logistical burdens associated with their care. And for all too many, that means making the difficult decision between staying home from work and risking losing a paycheck.

No member of the CF community should have to choose between their health and their livelihood.

As COVID-19 poses a serious threat to our nation’s public and economic health, it’s critical that Congress act to ensure people with CF and working members of their household receive the job protection and financial support that enables them to take time away from work for the duration of the pandemic.

That’s why the CF Foundation is urging Congress to expand paid family and medical leave for people with chronic conditions and their caregivers. ([link removed]) Please join us in speaking out.

ACT NOW ([link removed])

In this time of great uncertainty, we’re all doing our part to ensure the health and safety of those most at risk. Congress must too.

Thank you for continuing to raise your voice alongside people with CF during this unprecedented time.
