First off: Thank you for putting up with all the emails we sent over the past few days.

Really.

We know that a lot of campaigns are asking you for help right now, and we don’t take your support for granted. Your voice, your participation, even just reading these emails helps more than you might realize.

From this point, it’s an uphill battle to Election Day. We’re in a strong position — but we can’t let up.

Not with so much at stake.

That’s why this next part is so tough. A lot of people stepped up and made a donation ahead of yesterday’s mid-month deadline — the halfway point to our official FEC deadline.

But at the halfway point, we expect to be about 50% of the way to our goal. Today, we’re only tracking to about 35% of the way. That means we’re behind.

These goals aren’t arbitrary. If we raise what we need to, we can win this race. If we don’t, we’re in trouble.

It’s a dangerous move telling you all this, because our opponents might use it against us. But I’m counting on you here, hoping that sharing this information with you might help you understand how important your donations are.
