After winning my last reelection by just 1,842 votes, I was prepared for far-right special interests to invest heavily in trying to defeat me this time around.

As one of the most vulnerable House Democrats, keeping this seat in CT-05 blue is essential to any path back to a Democratic House majority in November.

That is why the news last week that the Koch brothers’ political organization has just made a seven-figure investment in battleground races, including mine, is so alarming.

If Republicans are able to score an upset victory in Connecticut, they will replace our voice in Congress with another rubber stamp for the MAGA agenda. I am doing everything in my power to continue being the voice our communities need in Washington.
