Dear friend,
EWG is taking the fight to Monsanto on the toxic pesticide glyphosate.
Monsanto has been trying to use an EPA risk assessment of glyphosate to overturn a jury’s finding that Roundup caused cancer in a California man. Last week, EWG staff attorneys filed a legal brief that shows this very risk assessment for glyphosate was heavily influenced by Monsanto itself!
Earlier this year, the EPA sided with Monsanto and declared that glyphosate – the key ingredient in Roundup – is safe! When making this decision, the EPA ignored independent scientific studies linking glyphosate to cancer and instead relied upon studies funded by Monsanto!
We can’t let Monsanto-Bayer get away with this! EWG is fighting to protect damages awarded to cancer victims and their families, but we need you to weigh in on our plans to keep fighting Monsanto.

Should Monsanto pay for glyphosate’s role in causing cancer in people?
